It’s important to me that Nigeria’s Nationwide Peace Committee (NPC) has invited presidential hopefuls to the proposed signing of peace accord forward of the 2023 presidential and Nationwide Meeting elections.
I’m excited as a result of the letter signed and issued on Thursday, September 15, by Chairman of NPC, Normal Abdulsalami Abubakar (rtd), invitations the candidates and their spokespersons to append their first signatures on the peace accord on Thursday, September 29, 2022.
Coincidentally, I used to be born on Wednesday, September 29, 1965. I shall be 57 on today that presidential candidates shall be signing their peace accord.
By the way in which, the signing of this accord is to guarantee that the method shall be performed in a peaceable method. That they won’t permit it to be rancorous.
The signing itself is going down a day after the graduation of the presidential and Nationwide Meeting campaigns.
It’s my want that the spokespersons of the presidential candidates, after the signing of this accord, will change the sample of their marketing campaign, which is now ‘personality-based’ to ‘issue-based.’
Might the most effective candidate emerge victorious on Saturday, February 25, 2023.
