Sanwo-Olu appoints new bodily planning commissioner

The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has introduced the relocation of the previous Commissioner for Particular Duties and Intergovernmental Relations, Tayo Bamgbose-Martins, as the brand new Commissioner for Spatial Planning and City Improvement.

This was introduced on Wednesday by the State Commissioner for Data and Technique, Mr. Gbenga Omotoso, in Alausa, Ikeja.

He mentioned: “I’m right here to let you know that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has reinstated Tayo Bamgbose-Martins as the brand new Commissioner for Land and City Improvement.

“He replaces Idris Salako, who resigned. So, Bamgbose-Martins enters a brand new area of expertise, coming from the Ministry of Particular Duties.

“Bamgbose-Martins is an astute bourgeois engineer with over 33 years {of professional} expertise as a civil servant.”

The PUNCH had reported that the previous Commissioner , Salako, resigned on Monday following the collapse of a seven-storey constructing on Victoria Island.
